In this powerful Solstice season when we honor and celebrate Light ..
Remembering my ancestors, I attune to the celestial bodies.
I rejoin the flow.
I disallow the complexities of the modern world to distract me from feeling my connection to Mother Earth and the other Star Beings for I know that when that connection is weak, I feel uneasy. I become uncertain of our place in the cosmos and begin to wonder who I am.
I take time to visit places where one can clearly see the stars in all their glory, knowing that from the moment I look up I’ll be dazzled, comforted by all that is larger than my self. I’ll recall my own essence and have a glimpse of the vastness from which all of life springs.
When I gaze at the miracle above, I sense that we too are made of starlight.
When I gaze into the immensity, I sense that I am and we are one unified field with the Natural Intelligence that orchestrates this magnum opus called LIFE.
As above, so below.
As without, so within.
The vastness helps me find my way back home. Blood, bones, souls, reconnecting to our magical beginnings.
Like when the sea waters cool me. Like when a blazing fire warms me. The Illuminated Souls are always above as they are within, waiting like a loving family to welcome me home to my true Being.
It’s innately human to see myself reflected in the celestial bodies.
Ancestors from every corner of the Earth have been doing it for as far back as we can trace.
Great wisdom is at our fingertips. The secrets of the Universe are exposed and explained before us.
And so this holi-day Solstice season, no matter how much is happening inside or around me, I resolve to remember to look up.
I resolve to notice the Great Mystery, the Ubiquitous, Unfathomable Grandeur that is always there, surrounding me, like loving arms.
